Your data. Your decision.

A practical guide to what different Better Lifestyle features save, what stays on a device, and how to keep, export or clear your information without unnecessary accounts.

There is no single personal-data account yet.

Many interactive Better Lifestyle tools run in the browser. Some operate only while the page is open; others, such as the existing Studio progress tracker, offer optional browser-local saving. Local browser data is not the same as cloud backup. If you change devices, browse in a private window or clear site data, that information may not follow you.

Important distinction: A page’s own local-only calculator may not transmit your typed inputs to a purpose-built database, but the website itself uses WordPress and third-party services for delivery, analytics, advertising or security. Those services may process visits and technical data under their own configurations. Read the Privacy Policy for the broader site context. We have not independently verified every active provider’s data flow from this page.

Where your information goes

Today — one next step

Supported today: seven action areas with 28 time-specific suggestions that work through built-in page elements, without requiring an account or saving a response.

Not yet verified as live: the experimental opt-in saved-action controls, completion history, import/export, and automatic goal prefill. The custom Today plugin is still staged for testing rather than installed.

Studio — My Progress

Supported: the current Studio progress feature has a separate local browser store. Saving is optional and requires user consent. Existing goal information is not automatically migrated from Today.

Important: before deleting or changing a browser profile, use Studio’s own export controls if available and verify that you have a readable backup.

Interactive reflection tools

Decision Compass, 1% Life Check-In, Conversation Planner and Subscription Audit generate responses in the page through their own controls. They are not currently connected to a unified Better Lifestyle account or to Studio goals.

Only share a generated report if you choose. Do not type passwords, medical records or identity documents into these tools.

Community — Better Together

Better Together is an adult, moderated expression-of-interest pilot. Its contact inquiries are different from browser-local planning: messages submitted through the site’s contact form are sent to the site operator and must be handled privately.

No public user directory, automatic matching, verified reviews or member messaging system has been launched.

Before clearing browser data

Removing a site’s stored data can affect more than one feature at once. It may erase local goals, preferences and drafts in the same browser profile. Do not clear all site storage just to test a new tool if you have progress you want to retain.

  1. Check what you want to keep.

Open My Progress and any other tool where you have saved information. Check whether it offers an export or backup.

  2. Make and verify your own copy.

Export or copy the data privately before deleting it. Make sure it is complete and readable. Do not share the file publicly.

  3. Clear only what you intend.

Use a tool-specific delete control where one is available and working. The browser’s broader site-data removal can affect multiple tools.

  4. Check the result.

Refresh and verify that the intended information is gone. If data reappears or another problem occurs, use the support channel.

Deleting browser-local data cannot automatically delete records held by WordPress, a contact form provider, analytics systems or another connected service. Those requests require the relevant site’s privacy/support process.

Privacy, accessibility and bug reports

We want to make privacy and accessibility problems easy to report without forcing public disclosure. If you find a control that doesn’t work, describe the device/browser, the page URL and what you expected. Please don’t include account passwords, private health details, identity documents or another person’s personal data in a general support request.

Use the Contact page with a suitable subject, such as Privacy request, Accessibility problem, or Tool not working. This channel is not emergency support and response times may vary.

Can I use the platform without AI?

Yes. Core reading, Today action examples and the Studio remain discoverable without visiting the separate AI Guide. AI guidance is optional and isn’t required for the script-free Today experience.

Is browser-local storage encrypted?

Not by these individual tools. Browser or device security can affect who has access. On a shared device, someone using your browser profile might be able to view stored data.

Does Better Lifestyle have cross-device sync?

No new unified, optional account-sync experience is active for Today and Studio at this stage. Moving a browser-local plan between devices requires explicit compatible export/import support where available; never assume an automatic migration.

Are the new pages certified WCAG 2.2 AA compliant?

Not yet. Responsive design, headings, keyboard support and semantic controls are being improved, but a completed manual keyboard and screen-reader audit is still required. Please report blockers through the contact page.
