Digital product revenue calculator

Explore possible earnings and break-even points before launching a printable workbook, template, digital download or other small digital product. Adjust the assumptions yourself. No sign-in, payment, affiliate link or data submission.

Estimate your sales scenario

Use a common currency for every amount. The starting numbers are examples only; they do not represent actual Better Lifestyle sales or an approved price.

Include VAT in the price if you use a VAT assumption below.

A sample fee, not a quoted Stripe rate.

Production, design, or launch expenses you choose to include.

0% is just a modeling assumption, not tax advice or a statement of exemption.

The results below initially show the example values in the fields above. When interactive scripts finish loading, changing an input recalculates them. Calculations stay in this browser.

What the estimate includes

Gross receipts are calculated from the price and unit count. The estimate deducts a hypothetical VAT component when entered, the chosen processing fees, per-order delivery/support costs and your one-time launch expenses. Other operating costs, income tax, refunds, advertising, exchange-rate changes and payment settlement timing are not calculated unless you manually model them in the relevant fields.

Sample scenarios at 79 NOK per sale

These figures show gross customer payments only for an illustrative price of 79 NOK, before VAT, processing fees, refunds or any other cost. They are not sales forecasts.

Use this tool before you sell

  1. Start with an honest estimate for units you may sell, not an assumed number of followers who will purchase.
  2. Check your payment provider’s actual fees and whether your selling price needs VAT, based on your legal and tax position.
  3. Include realistic fixed production costs. Consider payment disputes, refunds and ongoing support separately.
  4. Test your digital-file delivery and consumer disclosures before enabling a paid checkout.

Better Lifestyle is preparing an optional 12-page Weekly Reset Plus PDF workbook. It remains a preview only, not a live paid product. This calculator is free and independent of the planned workbook.

Frequently asked questions

Does the calculator show guaranteed income or a business forecast?

No. It only computes the result of the values you enter. It does not estimate traffic, conversion rates or how many people will actually buy your product.

Does it know my tax situation or payment processor’s fees?

No. The starting values are examples and must be checked against your actual setup. VAT rules depend on where and how you sell; consult qualified advice if needed.

What is the difference between revenue and contribution?

Gross revenue is the total amount paid by customers before deductions. The contribution figure here subtracts only the specific costs and illustrative VAT you entered. It is not verified net income or accounting profit.

Do you collect my entered prices and sales figures?

No. The tool calculates locally in your browser and does not submit the entered figures to Better Lifestyle. The copy button only puts a summary on your device’s clipboard when you click it.
