Better Lifestyle · Accessibility
A useful website should work for more people.
We want Better Lifestyle’s articles, free tools and learning resources to be easier to read, navigate and use across devices and input methods. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we want to be transparent about our progress and gaps.
Statement reviewed: 1 November 2026 · Scope: public pages and features at betterlifestyle02.com
Our current accessibility status
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as a reference for ongoing improvements, with Level AA as a target. This is not a claim that every page or feature currently conforms. We have not established full-site conformance through an independent accessibility audit, and older content, third-party integrations or newer interactive features may still have barriers.
We have made page-level improvements such as clearer heading structure, labeled controls in the free habit tracker, and text-based routes between learning resources. These examples are evidence of specific changes, not proof of full keyboard, screen-reader or mobile accessibility.
What we are working to improve
- Navigation and orientation: logical headings, descriptive links, visible focus states, and usable page navigation.
- Reading and media: meaningful image alternatives where needed, sufficient contrast, readable text at different sizes, and captions or transcripts where appropriate.
- Interaction: forms, calculators, expandable panels and learning trackers that can be understood and operated with keyboard and assistive technologies.
- Mobile and third-party content: reviewing small-screen layouts, embedded services, storefront links and subscription or form integrations as they change.
These are work areas, not assertions that all listed features have been tested or already meet a particular standard.
Options while using the site
Where supported by your browser or device, you can try keyboard navigation, zoom or text-size controls, and built-in reading features. Many free resources offer plain text instructions and links to related guides. Some features, especially embedded or interactive components, may behave differently across browsers and assistive technologies.
If a tool is difficult to use, the Guides Library and Start Here pages provide alternative text-based starting points. If those also create a barrier, please tell us what format or assistance would be more helpful.
Found an accessibility barrier?
Please use our Contact page to report a page or feature that is hard to read, navigate or operate. A useful report can include:
- The page URL or name of the feature.
- What you were trying to do, and what happened instead.
- Your browser, device or assistive technology, only if you’re comfortable sharing it.
- Whether an alternative format would help you access the information.
Please do not send passwords, financial details or sensitive health information. We review feedback and work toward practical fixes, but cannot promise a specific response time or resolution for every third-party feature.
