Four direct paths into the resource library

The Explore Everything directory now offers four situation-based shortcuts at the top: start with five minutes, understand spending, build better connections, or learn something useful. All eight links work without JavaScript. We also checked that the directory’s 35 destinations correspond to published site content.

Ten existing images received accurate descriptions

We reviewed ten older media-library images visually and updated their alternative text and descriptive titles. More older images still require review. This work does not mean the whole media library is now accessible, nor does it guarantee a Lighthouse score improvement.

Phase 6: simpler code, safer release checks

19 October 2026 · Live reliability improvement

Retired the obsolete Today inline script

The old experimental Today script has been removed from the live page content. The supported seven native action areas and 28 linked, time-specific actions remain visible. This avoids conflicting client-side initialization while the newer plugin is being tested separately. It does not delete Studio data or turn on automatic saving.

Use the stable Today page ↗

19 October 2026 · Staging candidate, not deployed

Phase 6 Today plugin and performance checks

The proposed plugin strengthens browser-local saving with an extra safeguard against data changed in another tab, even if the browser fails to deliver a storage event. A separate, opt-in staging test would check whether three WooCommerce scripts can be omitted on the Today page without breaking the header cart. Neither change to WordPress plugins nor asset-trimming is active on the live site.

Performance and accessibility work remains

Before the latest code removal, Today’s lab audit measured 75/100 for performance, 93/100 for accessibility, 96/100 for best practices, and 85/100 for SEO. Real-world field data was not available. Server response, unused CSS/JavaScript, contrast and crawlability still require review. These numbers are not post-improvement scores.

Phase 5: reliable Today controls and release safety

19 October 2026 · Live reliability fix

Always-visible actions, even when optional scripts fail

The Today hub now keeps its seven expandable life areas and 28 time-specific options visible unless a newer, fully initialized plugin is actually running. Experimental Save, Pause, completion and import/export buttons are hidden otherwise. This prevents unverified interface controls from replacing the supported experience.

Use the stable Today actions ↗

19 October 2026 · Staging release candidate only

Resolving script conflicts without touching saved progress

A revised WordPress plugin is being prepared to stop the old Today inline script from conflicting with external assets on the Today page. It also guards against incorrectly claiming browser data was deleted when storage refuses the operation. The plugin is not deployed on the production site; the legacy Studio bridge remains disabled in the candidate until its inline implementation can be removed safely on staging. No account sync or database migration is active.

Review privacy and data boundaries ↗

Phase 4: clearer data choices and accessibility

19 October 2026 · Live privacy guidance

Your Data & Controls

A new public privacy controls guide explains how browser-local planning differs from contact submissions, which Today features are still undergoing testing, and how to protect saved Studio progress before clearing site data. It also offers a route for accessibility and privacy concerns. No new user tracking or database was introduced by this page.

Hardening Today before rollout

We continue preparing automated tests and staging acceptance checks for a dedicated Today WordPress plugin. Production plugin deployment, cross-device sync, security-header changes and a claim of WCAG 2.2 AA conformance remain on hold until verified.

Use the current Today experience ↗

Phase 3: continuity and reliability

19 October 2026 · Live user experience

Choose, record, reflect—without a streak

The Today page now has a simple weekly progress loop alongside its seven areas and 28 native-HTML action choices. My Progress in Studio still requires explicit consent to save. We preserve all existing browser-local goals.

Explore the weekly rhythm ↗

19 October 2026 · Engineering, staged only

Stronger, external Today scripts prepared

A Phase 3 WordPress plugin package is being tested to replace unreliable inline Today JavaScript and improve the editable Today-to-Studio draft handoff. It is not installed on this production site; the seven-area script-free experience remains the supported path until staging and browser tests pass. No new sync, accounts, or member matching have been activated.

Phase 2: moving from ideas to action

19 October 2026 · Navigation and continuity

28 small actions and a route into Studio

The Today hub now includes seven everyday areas, with four realistic time options for each. These expand without JavaScript. Each action can open My Progress in the Studio to help visitors create their own editable goal. Goals and check-ins are not migrated or saved automatically; the Studio still requires explicit consent.

Choose one next step ↗

19 October 2026 · Engineering / not yet activated

Safer browser-state implementation in testing

Versioned local data, explicit import/export/delete, and a WordPress-specific script loader are being prepared for the Today pilot. They are not activated as a new production feature. Existing Studio data remains separate, and no new accounts, cloud sync or matching features have been launched.

Platform improvement: one next step, less menu overload

19 October 2026 · Foundation release

A new Today starting point

We added a focused Today entry with one manageable action and a fallback that works without JavaScript. The optional device-local saving and check-in interface is a pilot and is not yet fully verified. Existing Studio browser data is unchanged.

19 October 2026 · Navigation clean-up

Fewer competing top-level choices

We removed redundant top-level shortcuts to Help, the full directory, the optional AI Guide and Contact while retaining them within Resources, relevant pages and the footer. Existing page URLs remain available; no content was deleted.

Currently under editorial review

Article drafts are not the same as published articles. Our recent October writing batches produced 50 saved WordPress drafts each. The drafts are for review of structure, facts, images, accessibility and SEO before any individual public publication. Their existence does not imply all articles are readable on the public site.

A further collection of 10 videos, 10 podcasts and 10 books was imported as editorial drafts. Draft recommendations are not publicly available until reviewed and published. We link to official third-party content and do not rehost copyrighted books or episodes.

Development priorities

These are areas being considered or developed, not completed features or release commitments.

QUALITY & PERFORMANCE

Faster mobile pages

Measure and reduce unnecessary frontend script and style overhead, review CLS and loading order, and retest after each safe change. We will not claim a target score was reached without measurement.

COMMUNITY OPERATIONS

Safer membership and matching

Before opening automatic skill matches, develop proportional consent, private messaging, participant safeguarding, moderation, incident reporting and account controls.

EDITORIAL WORKFLOW

More useful, better sourced articles

Continue article review and add contextual images, accessible markup, source clarity and intentional internal links. Avoid publishing bulk low-value pages merely to inflate article counts.

ACCESSIBILITY & RELIABILITY

Better testing and support

Validate interactive tools on mobile and desktop, monitor dead links, reduce confusing duplication and improve routes for feedback, corrections and access needs.
